Skyline Drive

This past weekend we made an unexpected, quick trip home and on the way back to VA, we decided to take a little detour to check out Skyline Drive. We have seen signs for it evertime we've driven back, but never had the time to check it out before. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!. We are a little suprised to find out that it cost $15 to drive it (it is part of Shanandoah National Park and the cost is to enter the park), but it was worth every penny! Here are some pictures, although they hardly do it justice. If you ever get the chance to check it out, we highly recommend it, although you will need at least a good 4 hours and that is if you only stop a couple of times, because it is a 105 mile drive...

home improvements

Here are some pictures from our recent home improvements. Nathanael put in new countertops in the kitchen as well as a new fauset and plumbing and one new wall. The old countertop was dark brown and UGLY and the wall had brick on it. The new countertop and wall make the room look sooooo much brighter and cleaner!
