For the few of you who read this and i'm sure think that we have dropped off the face of the earth, we are still here. I wanted to wait until I could post pictures to update this, but due to my lack of technological ability, the pictures are still forthcoming.
Nathanael and I are back 'home' and currently living with my parents while we are fixing up a house that we bought in October. I am teaching 5th grade at a local christian school and loving it! Nathanael is helping our pastor and getting chances to preach here and there as well as teaching an 11th grade Bible class at the christian school. And working on the house in all of his 'spare'time. Not sure were God is taking us, but for now we are here, waiting......and working.
In the midst of our temperary 'homelessness', I have been learning many things...
1. 'home' is so much more than a building
2. stuff is just stuff...it just means more to lug around and for the most part is so meaningless...and yet there is this stupid desire to want more of it
3. joy can be found in the funniest places...in the little things we so often overlook or just don't stop to notice
4. i am soooooo thankful for a Father who doesn't quit loving me
and 5. as Proverbs 16:9 so states, "We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps."
